SUBPARAGRAPH (II) OF THIS PARAGRAPH.

(b) [The violations] ANY VIOLATION of the provisions of
this section by any licensee shall be sufficient cause for the
suspension or revocation of his license, in the discretion of the
Commission.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Competency to Stand Trial - Examination - Confinement

FOR the purpose of providing for the discretion of a court to
confine a defendant in jail pending an examination for
competency to stand trial; providing for the confinement of
a defendant with a severe mental disorder or mental
retardation in a medical facility designated by the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene pending examination
of the defendant's competency to stand trial; providing for
an immediate examination of a defendant by certain agencies
at the discretion of the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene; making stylistic changes; and generally relating to
confinement pending an examination for competency to stand
trial.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
