In subsection (a)(7) of this section, the term
"current market" is added to modify the term "value",
for clarity.

In subsection (b) of this section, the former phrase
"for the calendar year 1979 and each year thereafter"
is deleted as superfluous.

Also in subsection (b) of this section, the defined
term "renter" is substituted for the former phrase
"persons who are occupants of a dwelling", for
clarity.

In subsection (c) of this section and throughout this
article, the former word "rules" is deleted in light
of the use of the word "regulations". This revision
conforms to the practice of the Division of State
Documents to use "rule" with respect to judicial or
legislative units and "regulation" with respect to
executive units.

In subsection (d) of this section, the phrase
"possible property tax relief under this section" is
substituted for the former phrase "the provisions of
this section", for clarity.

In subsection (e) of this section, the phrase "for 6
months or more" is substituted for the former phrase
"at least 6 calendar months", for clarity.

Also in subsection (e) of this section, the former
phrase "for which the tax credit is sought", which
modified "calendar year" is deleted as superfluous.

In subsection (f)(2) of this section, the reference to
"state under oath" is substituted for the former
reference to "be made under oath or affirmation that
the matters and facts stated ... are true to the best
of the applicant's knowledge, information, and
belief", for brevity and in light of the explanation
of "oaths" in § 1-201 of this article.

In subsection (f)(3) of this section, the defined term
"gross income" is substituted for the former phrase
"income, interest, dividends, rents, money paid or
received", for clarity and brevity.

Also in subsection (f)(3) of this section, the
reference to "net worth" is added for clarity.

In subsection (h)(1) of this section, the former
reference to "application to the ... Department" is
deleted as unnecessary in light of the revision of
subsection (f) of this section.
