(a) In this title, the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(e) "Forest game birds and mammals" means forest game birds
(ruffed grouse and turkey) and forest game mammals (BLACK BEARS,
deer, fox squirrels, excluding the Delmarva subspecies, and gray
and red squirrels) or any part, egg, offspring, or dead body of
any of them.

(a)  Pursuant to § 10-205, OF THIS TITLE, the Department
shall establish by rule or regulation and publish by July 1 each
year the open season, excepting Sundays, to hunt the forest and
upland game birds and mammals.

(b)  If the Department by rule or regulation pursuant to §
10-205 OF THIS TITLE restricts or reduces the number of days
normally allowed to hunt, possess, sell, purchase, ship,
transport, carry, or export any game bird or mammal because of an
emergency situation, the Department may extend the open season to
provide a comparable number of days in any given season.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County - Alcoholic Beverages License

FOR the purpose of establishing a procedure in Frederick County
for making application for an alcoholic beverages license
for a partnership; requiring the disclosure of certain
business interests in the partnership, that is the subject
of the application; providing a resident and voter
registration requirement for one of the applicants; and
generally relating to an application for an alcoholic
beverages license for a partnership.
