take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Deer Hunting - Permits

FOR the purpose of repealing certain provisions of law that grant
county and State residents first consideration for a certain
percentage of antlerless deer permits; permitting, in
Dorchester County, a person to hunt without a permit a
certain number of deer if the person meets certain
requirements; requiring providing the Department of Natural
Resources to may issue without charge a permit to hunt deer
under certain circumstances; requiring certain deer checking
stations any licensing agent to issue a permit under this
Act; providing that the issuing agent shall be compensated
for each permit issued; providing for the activities
allowed for a permit issued under this Act; repealing
certain provisions of law relating to weighing of deer at
deer checking stations; and generally allowing a person to
hunt a certain number of deer during the season to hunt deer
under certain circumstances.
