he may desire in the premises" is deleted as

unnecessary in light of the provisions of § 8-404 of
this subtitle.

Also in subsection (a) of this section, the word
"printed" is deleted as unnecessary in light of the
use of the word "written".

In subsection (b)(1) of this section, the former
phrase "for tax purposes" is deleted as superfluous.

In subsection (b)(3) of this section, the former
reference to a value "made against any person" is
deleted as superfluous.

In subsection (b)(4) of this section, the reference to
"an assessment appeal or a petition to change" is
substituted for the former reference to "whenever any
person applies for a change", for clarity.

Also in subsection (b)(4) of this section, the
reference to "a decision on an assessment appeal" is
substituted for the former reference to "there is a
change or refusal to change an existing valuation or
classification", for clarity and brevity.

In the introductory phrase of subsection (c) of this
section, the former references to the notice being
"required by this subsection" and containing a
"statement of the amount of" are deleted as
superfluous.

In subsection (c)(1) and (2) of this section, the word
"current" is substituted for the former word
"previous", to clarify that the assessment and value
are current until changed.

In subsection (c)(2) of this section, the former
reference to the value "upon which the previous
assessment was based", is deleted as superfluous.

In subsection (c)(3) and (4) of this section, the term
"proposed" is substituted for the former term "new",
for clarity.

In subsection (c)(3) of this section, the former
reference to the value "resulting from the latest
physical inspection of the property", is deleted as
superfluous.

In subsection (c)(4) of this section, the reference to
"in each year" of the 3-year cycle is substituted for
the former reference to "the first, second, and third
years" of the 3-year cycle, for brevity.
