wine societies; authorizing the holder to conduct a national
wine exhibition, judge and/or, and taste competitive wines;
providing that certain wine can only be received from
wholesalers; prohibiting the sale of wine; providing for a
limitation on the number of days for holding a wine
exhibition; authorizing manufacturers, nonresident dealers,
suppliers, and wholesalers or their representatives to be
judges and make presentations at to participate in the wine
exhibitions; authorizing certain licensed premises to have
wine exhibitions; requiring the permitee to file a certain
report with the Comptroller; providing a certain definition;
stating the age for the transportation and possession of
wine; and generally relating to creating a State wine
exhibition permit.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 4(1) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be
Section(s) 4(m).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

(X) "FAMILY WINE" MEANS HOMEMADE WINE PRODUCED EXCLUSIVELY
FOR HOME CONSUMPTION AND NOT FOR SALE.
