required with respect to such vehicles; providing that

permits issued shall be issued in lieu of annual

registration under certain circumstances; providing a

certain fee for trip permits; providing for motor bus owners
or operators to apply for identification markers; providing
that markers issued shall be displayed in accordance with

certain regulations promulgated by the Comptroller;

providing a certain fee for the issuance of identification
markers; providing that identification markers shall be
issued in lieu of annual registration; and fees shall be
paid in lieu of a specified annual registration fee;
providing for the expiration of motor bus registration; and
generally relating to a road tax on motor buses.

Road Tax on Commercial Motor
Vehicles - Motor Buses

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of a "commercial motor
vehicle"; establishing fees for a trip permit and an
identification marker for certain motor buses; defining the
term "motor bus"; repealing obsolete language; providing
that certain provisions of this Act may not be construed to
apply to a trip permit or an identification marker that is
effective before a certain date; clarifying language; and
generally relating to the issuance of a trip permit and an
identification marker for certain motor buses.
