AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Board of License Commissioners

FOR the purpose of altering the maximum salary limitation for the
chairman and each member of the Anne Arundel County Board of
License Commissioners; and providing that this Act does not
affect the incumbent members and the chairman of" the Board.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 155(c)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

155.

(c) In Anne Arundel County the chairman of the board of
license commissioners shall receive annually as salary not more
than [$10,000] $15,000 $12,500 $15,000; each other member of the
board shall receive annually as salaries not more than [$7,000]
$10,000 $8,500, plus reimbursement for expenses reasonably
incurred by them.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
of the chairman and the board of license commissioners in office
on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act
concerning the salary or compensation of the chairman and the
board of license commissioners shall take effect at the beginning
of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
