AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of prohibiting the issuance of new licenses for
the sale of alcoholic beverages in a certain legislative
district area of Baltimore City; prohibiting the transfer of
licenses into that district area; providing for certain
exceptions; providing that this Act does not apply to the
renewal or certain transfers of an alcoholic beverages
license issued in the restricted area prior -to a certain
date; and providing a certain additional procedure for the
board of license commissioners to follow when conducting a
hearing and making a decision on certain license transfers
within the restricted area.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) New licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages may
not be issued in:

(1) The 11th through 21st precincts of the 25th ward
of Baltimore City. This area includes the following communities:

Brooklyn

Cherry Hill                                                 

Curtis Bay
