(2)  FOR MORE THAN 1 YEAR FOLLOWING THE 31ST CALENDAR
DAY AFTER THE RECEIPT DATE;

(3)  ON AMOUNTS REPRESENTING UNPAID INTEREST; OR

(4)  IF THERE IS A DISPUTE, AS DETERMINED BY THE
COMMISSION, AS TO ANY MATERIAL FACTOR IN THE CONTRACT OR PURCHASE
ORDER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Washington
Suburban Sanitary Commission is not liable, under the terms of
this Act, for interest on any amount due under a procurement
contract and remaining unpaid for any period prior to July 1,
1985.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Procurement - Payment of Bills

FOR the purpose of establishing that it is the policy of the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission to
make payment of any money due, under procurement contracts
entered into by the Commission, within a certain time of the
due date; providing that interest shall be payable at a
certain rate of interest for a certain period under certain
conditions; defining certain terms; requiring certain
determinations; specifying certain exemptions; and generally
relating to the payment of the obligations of the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission under
procurement contracts.

BY adding to

Article 28 - Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning

Commission
Section 2-201 through 2-204 to be under the new subtitle

"Subtitle 2. Payment of Commission Obligations"
