[(2)] (5) This subsection does not apply to or
affect the suspension of any license:

(i) For failure to comply with the required
security provisions of Title 17 of this article;

(ii) For failure to appear at a hearing as
provided in Title 12, Subtitle 2 of this article;

(iii) For failure to obey a citation, as
provided in Title 26 of this article; or

(iv) For failure to pay a fine in accordance
with the court's directive as provided in Title 27 of this
article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Howard County - Property Taxes - Deferral or Credit
Ho. Co. 205-85

FOR the purpose of authorizing Howard County to provide by law a
deferral or credit for certain property tax increases on
owner-occupied residential property in Howard County when
that property is rezoned at the initiative of the County to
a higher intensity use; providing for the application of
this Act; limiting the eligibility for the tax deferral or
credit to certain property; providing for the effective date
of this Act; and generally relating to a tax deferral or
credit for certain property in Howard County under certain
circumstances.
