Article 22 - Washington County
1-103.

(a)  The annual salary for a county commissioner is
[$12,000] $15,000 $13,500 $13,920, payable in monthly
installments.

(b)  The Commissioner elected President of the Board shall
receive an additional $500 per annum.

(c)  A Commissioner may not receive any other compensation
for his services AS A WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salaries or
compensation of the State's Attorney of Washington County,
Sheriff of Washington County, and the Washington County
Commissioners in office on the effective date of this Act, but
the provisions of this Act concerning the salaries or
compensation of the State's Attorney of Washington County,
Sheriff of Washington County, and the Washington County
Commissioners shall take effect at the beginning of the next
following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Washington County - Animal Control Ordinance

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of
Washington County to enact an animal control ordinance;
specifying certain provisions that the ordinance may
contain; and generally relating to the authority of the
Washington County Commissioners to enact an animal control
ordinance.
