AN ACT concerning

Garrett County - County Commissioners - Sale of Public Property

FOR the purpose of permitting the County Commissioners of Garrett
County to sell certain county property under certain
circumstances; and providing for the use of the proceeds of
the sales.

Section 7-22

Article 12 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1971 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 12 - Garrett County

7-22.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GARRETT COUNTY MAY SELL PROPERTY
LOCATED IN ANY INDUSTRIAL PARK OWNED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF GARRETT COUNTY TO ANY BUYER, FOR THE APPRAISED OR NEGOTIATED
PRICE, AND IN ANY MANNER. THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY USE
PROCEEDS FROM THESE SALES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COUNTY BUDGET.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
