Section 7-201

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Corporations and Associations

7-201.

This subtitle does not apply to:

(1)  An insurance company subject to the provisions of
Article 48A of the Code;

(2)  A railroad operating in this State; [or]

(3)  A national bank; OR

(4)  A FEDERAL CREDIT UNION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

(House Bill 623)

AN ACT concerning

Homeowners' and Renters' Property Tax Credit Programs

FOR the purpose of altering the formula for calculating credits
and increasing the maximum credits available under the State
program of property tax credits for renters; altering the
formula for calculating credits, and increasing the maximum
eligible assessed value and maximum grants in the State
program of property tax credits for homeowners; providing
for the application of this Act; and generally relating to
the homeowners' and renters' property tax credit programs.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Tax - Property

Section 9-102(h) and (i) and 9-104(a)(11), (g), and (i)
