SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

57.

(a) The following requirements for application for county
licenses shall be applicable in these counties, as additional
requirements except where inconsistent with those listed
elsewhere in this subtitle:

(d) In Baltimore County, the [application shall also
contain a statement that the applicant is a registered voter of
Baltimore County.]

[The] certificate shall be signed by at least [ten] 10
citizens who shall be owners of real estate within [one] 1 mile
of the location of the proposed business and registered voters of
Baltimore County.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

Sheltered Housing for Elderly

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of "sheltered housing
for elderly" to include certain individual who are 55 years
old or older and who are an individual who is the spouse of
