(A)  UNLESS THE BOARD AGREES TO ACCEPT THE SURRENDER OF A
LICENSE, A LICENSED SPEECH PATHOLOGIST OR THE HOLDER OF A LIMITED
LICENSE MAY NOT SURRENDER THE LICENSE NOR MAY THE LICENSE LAPSE
BY OPERATION OF LAW WHILE THE LICENSEE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION OR
WHILE CHARGES ARE PENDING AGAINST THE LICENSEE.

(B)  THE BOARD MAY SET CONDITIONS ON ITS AGREEMENT WITH THE
LICENSEE UNDER INVESTIGATION OR AGAINST WHOM CHARGES ARE PENDING
TO ACCEPT SURRENDER OF THE LICENSE.

(C) THE BOARD MAY APPEAL FROM ANY DECISION THAT REVERSES OR
MODIFIES ITS ORDER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Public Psychologists - Licensure

FOR the purpose of altering an exemption to psychologist
licensure by requiring that after a certain date an
individual employed by the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene, a county health department or, the Baltimore City
Health Department or the Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services shall be licensed by the Board of

Examiners of Psychologists except under certain

circumstances; and providing that an individual who is
employed but not licensed under this Act after a certain
date shall be supervised by a certain person.

BY repealing and reenacting, with without amendments,
