AN ACT concerning

Boxing, Sparring and Wrestling - Sale or Serving of Liquor

FOR the purpose of repealing a provision of law that prohibits
certain boxing, sparring, or wrestling exhibitions or
performances to be held or conducted in certain buildings or
structures where liquor is sold or served.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

[124.

No boxing or sparring or wrestling exhibition, exhibitions,
performance or performances, shall be held or conducted in any
building, buildings, structure or structures where liquor is sold
or served.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
