SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 95A - Unemployment Insurance Law

20.

As used in this article, unless the context clearly requires
otherwise:

(g) (8) "Employment" does not include:

(xvi) Service performed as an intern[,
resident, or physician in postgraduate education] in the employ
of a hospital by an individual who has completed a four-year
course in a medical school chartered or approved pursuant to
State law;

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore City and Caroline and Dorchester Counties -
Alcoholic Beverages - Election Day

FOR the purpose of permitting the holder of a wholesale alcoholic
beverages license to sell and deliver alcoholic beverages to
a retailer on election day in Baltimore City and Caroline
and Dorchester counties.
