Lida Lee Tall Learning Resource Center

FOR the purpose of altering procedures relating to budgeting for
the Lida Lee Tall Learning Resource Center.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

5-202.

(a)  (7) "Full-time equivalent enrollment" means:

(i) All students enrolled in grades 1 through
12 or their equivalent in regular day school programs on
September 30 of the previous school year [and includes the
students in the Lida Lee Tall Learning Resource Center];

(b)  [(6) For each student who attends the Lida Lee Tall
Learning Resource Center the Department shall pay the Lida Lee
Tall Learning Resource Center the State share of basic current
expenses that otherwise would be paid to that student's county
board or the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, if the student
were enrolled in regular public school.]

(f) Funds for the operation of the Lida Lee Tall Learning
Resources Center shall be as provided in the budget [within the
classification of State aided educational institutions].

[(g) The payment of the State share of basic current
expenses to the Lida Lee Tall Learning Resources Center shall be
as provided in Section 5-202(b)(5) of this article.]

[(h)] (G) The Lida Lee Tall Learning Resources Center may
receive and spend any grant or gift budgeted or provided for it.
