Ch. 187

(1)  MAY PROCEED WITH THE PROTECTIVE ORDER HEARING;
and

(2)  if the court finds by clear and convincing
evidence that the alleged abuse has occurred, [the court] may
grant a protective order to stop the abuse.

(e) The protective order may:

(1)  order the alleged abuser to refrain from abusing
household members;

(2)  order the alleged abuser to vacate the family
home immediately and grant temporary possession of the family
home to the petitioner for not more than 15 days;

(3)  award temporary custody of a minor household
member;

(4)  direct any or all of the household members to
participate in a professionally supervised counseling program;
and

(5)  order any other relief as necessary.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

The City Temple of Baltimore Loan of 1983

FOR the purpose of amending the provisions of The City Temple of
Baltimore Loan of 1983 to provide an extension of time for
the City Temple of Baltimore to present evidence
satisfactory to the Board of Public Works that a certain
matching fund will be provided.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 591 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1983
