REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former HE § 9-921(a)
and (b).

Former HE § 9-921(c), which provided for the repeal of
inconsistent law, is deleted as unnecessary since the
Code has been checked and no inconsistent law exists.

9-903. SCOPE OF SUBTITLE.

THIS SUBTITLE DOES NOT APPLY TO:

(1)  ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, EXCEPT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NUMBER 8;

(2)  MONTGOMERY COUNTY; OR

(3)  PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, EXCEPT ELECTION DISTRICTS
PISCATAWAY NUMBER 5 AND BRANDYWINE NUMBER 11.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as HE §
9-922.

In item (1) of this section, the reference to
"assessment district number 8" is substituted for the
former reference to "eighth election district" to
conform to the current name for this geographic area.
See § 17-108 of the Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County, which contains the current geographic
boundaries for assessment district number 8.

In item (3) of this section, the reference to
"election districts Piscataway Number 5 and Brandywine
Number 11" is substituted for the former reference to
"the Piscataway District and the Brandywine District"
to conform to the current names for these election
districts. See §§ 8-105 and 8-111 of the Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County, which contain the
current geographic boundaries for election districts
Piscataway Number 5 and Brandywine Number 11,
respectively.

No other changes are made.
