a water or sewer authority; revising the laws relating to a
board of directors of a water or sewer authority, including
the membership, powers, and duties of the boards of
directors; revising the laws relating to bonds of a water or
sewer authority, including the issuance, sale, redemption,
and uses of the bonds for the purpose of financing a water
system or sewerage system; revising the laws relating to the
rights of holders of bonds issued by a water or sewer
authority; revising the laws relating to water systems,
sewerage systems, and any combination of a water system or
sewerage system of a water or sewer authority; revising the
laws relating to the powers of a political subdivision of
the State in relation to the creation, operation, and
termination of a water or sewer authority; defining certain
terms; providing for the scope of this Act; revising the
laws relating to rates, fees, charges, and liens of a water
system and sewerage system; providing for the effect,
construction, and effective date of the provisions of this
Act; and generally relating to matters concerning water and
sewer authorities in Title 9, Subtitle 9 of the Health -
Environmental Article.

subtitle "Subtitle 9. Water and Sewer Authorities"
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1982 Volume and 1984 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 9-901 through 9-922, inclusive, and the
subtitle "Subtitle 9. Water and Sewer Authorities" of Article
Health - Environmental of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:
