"SECTION 13. 19. 20. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
authorization is hereby granted to transfer by approved budget
amendment General Fund amounts for retirement and pension
contributions from the Maryland State Retirement and Pension
Systems to the various State departments, agencies, bureaus,
commissions, boards, and other organizational units included in
the State budget.
SECTION 14. 20. 21. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
person holding an office of profit within the meaning of Article
35 of the Declaration of Rights, Constitution of Maryland, is
appointed to or otherwise becomes the holder of a second office
of profit within the meaning of Article 35 of the Declaration of
Rights, Constitution of Maryland, then no compensation or other
emolument, except expenses incurred in connection with attendance
at hearings, meetings, field trips, and working sessions, shall
be paid from any funds appropriated by this bill to that person
for any services in connection with the second office of profit.
SECTION 15. 21. 22. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
numerals of this bill showing subtotals and totals are
informative only and are not actual appropriations. The actual
appropriations are in the numerals for individual items of
appropriation. It is the legislative intent that in subsequent
printings of the bill the numerals in subtotals and totals shall
be administratively corrected or adjusted for continuing purposes
of information, in order to be in arithmetic accord with the
numerals in the individual items.
