SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

4-1008.

(b) A person may not catch oysters by tongs or patent tongs
OR BY DIVING except during the tonging AND DIVING season from
September 15 to March 31 inclusive the following year. However,
in the waters of Worcester County, the tonging AND DIVING season
is from January 1 to December 31, inclusive.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
