AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Economic Development Commission -

Pensions

FOR the purpose of altering the pensions of the Director and the
Secretary to the Director of the St. Mary's County Economic
Development Commission.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County

Section 26-17 H.

Article 19 - Public Local Laws of Maryland

(1978 Edition and September, 1984 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 19 - St. Mary's County

26-17.

H. (1) The Director of the Economic Development Commission
shall receive for the remainder of the Director's life a
retirement benefit of [three] FOUR hundred dollars [($300.)]
($400) per month from St. Mary's County, payable by the County
Commissioners from the general funds of the county.

(2) The Secretary to the Director of the Economic
Development Commission shall, receive for the remainder of the
Secretary's life a retirement benefit of [one hundred fifty] TWO
HUNDRED dollars [($150.)] $200 per month from St. Mary's County,
payable by the County Commissioners from the general funds of the
county.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
