TITLE 10. BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS -- MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS.

SUBTITLE 1. DEFINITION.

10-101. "BOARD" DEFINED.

IN THIS TITLE, "BOARD" MEANS THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language added to avoid
repetition of the phrase "Board of Public Works".

SUBTITLE 2. GENERAL PROVISIONS.

10-201. SECRETARY.

(A)  POSITION AND APPOINTMENT.

THE BOARD MAY APPOINT A FULL-TIME SECRETARY.

(B)  TENURE.

THE SECRETARY SERVES AT THE PLEASURE OF THE BOARD.

(C)  QUALIFICATIONS.
THE SECRETARY:

(1)  MUST BE A PERSON OF HIGH CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY;
AND

(2)  SHALL BE APPOINTED ON THE BASIS OF EXECUTIVE
SKILL AND ABILITY.

(D)  SALARY.

THE BOARD SHALL SET THE SALARY OF THE SECRETARY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 78A, § 1A.
