In the introductory language of item (2) of this
section, the reference to "ex officio members" is
added for clarity.

THE TREASURER IS THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMITTEE.

8-111. MEETINGS OF COMMITTEE.

(A)  CHAIRMAN TO CALL.

THE CHAIRMAN SHALL CALL MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEE AS NEEDED
TO PERFORM ITS DUTIES.

(B)  INVITATION FOR DIRECTOR OF DEPARTMENT OF FISCAL
SERVICES.

THE COMMITTEE SHALL INVITE THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
FISCAL SERVICES TO ATTEND THE MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the third sentence and
the second clause of the fourth sentence of former
Art. 31, § 26(a).

Subsection (a) of this section is revised as a duty of
the "Chairman", to reflect that, in calling meetings,
the Treasurer acts in the capacity of Chairman.
