SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 101 - Workmen's Compensation

14A.

(A)   IN THE PREPARATION OF ANY COMPREHENSIVE REVISION OF THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE AND ATTENDANT CROSS-REFERENCES BY THE
DIVISION OF STATUTORY REVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LEGISLATIVE
REFERENCE, ALL TERMINOLOGY REFERRING TO "WORKMEN'S", OR LIKE
TERMS, SHALL BE REVISED AS "WORKERS" "WORKERS'", OR LIKE TERMS.

(B)   IN THIS ARTICLE, AND FOR PURPOSES OF ANY COMPREHENSIVE
REVISION OF THIS ARTICLE AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS
SECTION, THE TERMS "WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION" AND "WORKERS'
COMPENSATION" ARE CONSIDERED TO BE SYNONYMOUS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Washington County - General Public Improvements - Bonds

FOR the purpose of authorizing and empowering the Board of County
Commissioners of Washington County to issue and sell serial
bonds upon the full faith and credit of the County in an
amount not in excess of $4,500,000, to be issued in such
amounts and at such times as the County Commissioners may
designate, for the purposes of general public improvements,
including, but not limited to, public school capital
improvements, and of doing those things that are necessary
or appropriate to accomplish the objects and purposes of the
projects; authorizing the Board of County Commissioners of
Washington County to levy taxes on the assessable property
in the County to provide funds for the payment of interest
