(2) ANY PERSON WHO HAS COMPLETED 25 YEARS OF
CERTIFIED VOLUNTEER SERVICE AND HAS NOT REACHED THE AGE OF 60 MAY
BE QUALIFIED AND WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS UPON REACHING THE
AGE OF 60 IF THE PERSON IS CERTIFIED TO THE 25 YEARS OF QUALIFIED
SERVICE BEFORE JANUARY 1, 1984. AFTER JANUARY 1, 1984, A PERSON
WHO ACCUMULATES THE PROPER NUMBER OF POINTS NEEDED TO QUALIFY AND
CERTIFY FOR 25 YEARS OF SERVICE AND WHO FAILS TO REMAIN ACTIVE OR
MAINTAIN MEMBERSHIP IN A VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY WILL NOT
DISQUALIFY OR OTHERWISE BE RESTRICTED FROM RECEIVING BENEFITS AT
AGE 60.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Annual Curative Bill
FOR the purpose of generally curing certain previous Acts of the
General Assembly enacted with possible title defects;
providing that, in Harford County, if certain premises
constitute a restaurant, tavern, hotel, club, dance studio,
disco, or place of entertainment, a person, club,
organization, or place of entertainment may not knowingly
allow the consumption, possession, or transfer of alcoholic
beverages, with certain exception; altering the definition
of associate real estate broker; and repealing an erroneous
reference to the power of a condominium unit owner to
petition a court to correct an improper description in a
plat, thereby bringing the Code in conformity with the title
of an Act.
