provide the same information as required under § 10 for
application of a certificate of registration.

14.

(b) (2) In the event that the subscriber rescinds the
continuing care agreement prior to occupying the unit for any
reason other than the reasons specified in [§ 14(b)(1)]
SUBSECTION (B)(l) OF THIS SECTION, the refund provisions shall be
the same as those provided for in [§ 14(b)(1)] SUBSECTION (B)(1)
OF THIS SECTION, except that the provider may hold an additional
amount of up to 4 percent of the entrance fee until a continuing
care agreement is entered into between the provider and another
subscriber with respect to the unit or 80 percent of the units at
the facility are contracted for, whichever occurs first.

Article 71 - Ordinaries, Hotels, Inns and Boardinghouses

(d)  With respect to the loss of property (other than money,
jewelry, securities and plate for which provision is made in
[paragraph (a) hereof] SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION) of
registered guests from their rooms in any hotel or inn, the hotel
or inn shall not be liable in excess of the sum of $300.00.

(e)  The foregoing provisions, other than those contained in
[subdivision (b)] SUBSECTION (B) of this section limiting the
liability of hotels and inns with respect to the loss of property
shall be applicable to those hotels or inns only which cause a
printed notice of such provisions to be displayed in each guest
room (as distinguished from public rooms) of the hotel or inn.

A married woman may as landlady and proprietress contract
with any one entering her house for board or lodging or both, and
have and pursue the legal remedies given in [§ 5] § 16-503 OF THE
COMMERCIAL LAW ARTICLE the same as if she were a feme sole, and
shall further have and enjoy all the powers, rights and remedies
with respect to the renting, keeping and conducting of such
boarding or lodging house as if she were a feme sole, and it
shall not be necessary for her husband to join in any contract
with reference thereto.

Article 73B - Pensions

3.

The membership of the retirement system shall consist of the
following:

(2) (a) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in
this article, membership in the retirement system shall be
optional with any class of officials elected or [appointed;]
