after the effective date of the County resolution that authorizes
the bond issue to present evidence satisfactory to the Board of
Public Works that the matching fund will be provided. If
satisfactory evidence is presented, the Board shall certify this
fact to the County Treasurer and the proceeds of the loan shall
be expended for the purposes provided in this Act. If this
evidence is not presented by 2 years from after the effective
date of the County resolution that authorizes the bond issue, the
proceeds of the loan shall revert to the general fund of Cecil
County.

SECTION 12. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

Cecil County - Licenses - Tobacco Vendors

FOR the purpose of requiring a vendor of certain tobacco products
in Cecil County to obtain a license at a certain annual cost
from the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County; and
making a stylistic change.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 8 - Cecil County

1-14.

(b) Every person, firm, association or corporation
distributing cigarettes AND OTHER TOBACCO PRODUCTS by means of a
vending machine shall obtain a license from the county
commissioners for each machine, and shall pay [ten dollars] $10
annually for each license.
