(House Bill 857)

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Prohibition of Parking in

Specified Places

PG 403-84

FOR the purpose of prohibiting parking in certain specified
places on property owned by the Board of Education of Prince
George's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Transportation
Section 21-1003(d)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1977 Volume and 1983 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

21-1003.

(d) A person may not park a vehicle:

(1)  Within 50 feet of the nearest rail in a railroad
grade crossing;

(2)  Unless for the use of a handicapped individual,
in a space or zone marked as restricted for the use of
handicapped individuals;

(3)  On any property owned by the Board of Education
of Montgomery County or Montgomery College where parking is
prohibited by an official sign;

(4)  On any property owned by the Board of Education
of Baltimore County or the community colleges of Baltimore County
where parking is prohibited by an official sign;

(5)  On any property owned by the Board of Education
of Wicomico County or the community colleges of Wicomico County
where parking is prohibited by an official sign; [or]

(6)  ON ANY PROPERTY OWNED BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED BY AN
OFFICIAL SIGN; OR
