FOR the purpose of providing that application fees for a license
to practice pharmacy may be established by the Board of
Pharmacy but may not exceed the cost of purchasing and
administering the Board's licensing examination.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 12-303(a)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

12-303.

(a) To apply for a license, an applicant shall:

(1)  Submit an application to the Board on the form
that the Board requires; and

(2)  Pay to the Board [a fee of $85] THE APPLICATION
FEE SET BY THE BOARD IN AN AMOUNT THAT DOES NOT EXCEED THE COST
OF PURCHASING AND ADMINISTERING THE EXAMINATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.
