SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 65 - Militia

9.

(H) A DEPUTY COMMANDER, STATE AREA COMMAND SHALL BE
APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR AND HIS TERM OF OFFICE SHALL BE AT THE
PLEASURE OF THE GOVERNOR. THE DEPUTY COMMANDER SHALL HAVE A
COMMISSIONED GRADE NOT ABOVE THAT OF BRIGADIER GENERAL AND SHALL
PERFORM THE MILITARY DUTIES ASSIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR OR BY THE
ADJUTANT GENERAL.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Transfer Tax

FOR the purpose of altering the maximum allowable transfer tax in
Prince George's County; and providing for the termination of
this Act.
