following: "Authorization is hereby granted to transfer to the
Office of the Secretary, Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services (35.01.01.01) $70,941 and three encumbered
positions associated with statistical activities and the Crime
Watch Program.".

Amendment No. 5.

On line 10 on page 11 of the printed bill, strike the
numerals "23.01.02.02" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals
"23.01.01.15".

Amendment No. 6.

On line 11 on page 31 of the printed bill, strike the
numerals "285,675,926" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals
"219,675,926" contingent upon enactment of legislation modifying
Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland reducing the amount
required to be placed in the budget for Teachers' Retirement and
Pension Contributions.

Amendment No. 7 .

On line 35 on page 30 of the printed bill, strike the
numerals "74,978,709" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals
"58,978,709" contingent upon enactment of legislation modifying
Article 73B of the Annotated Code of Maryland reducing the amount
required to be placed in the budget for the Employees' Retirement
and Pension Contributions.
