House Bill 525, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 29, 1984, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to. sign Senate Bill 552.

AN ACT concerning

Water and Wastewater

FOR the purpose of requiring the State to have an allocation of
water and wastewater from the county where the building or
development is proposed whose facilities are affected by
proposed construction or to show certain evidence before a
State or local authority may issue the building permit or
subdivision plat; and requiring a county to respond within a
certain period to a State request for an allocation.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Section 9-501(m) and (q)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
