JOINT RESOLUTIONS
RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That this Body
approve the Patuxent River Watershed policy plan as presented to
and approved by the local jurisdictions; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be sent to the
Honorable Harry Hughes, Governor of Maryland, and the Honorable
Constance Lieder, Secretary, Department of State Planning, 301
West Preston Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201.

A House Joint Resolution concerning
House and Senate Rules on Legislative Ethics
FOR the purpose of amending, repealing, and adding to the rules
of the House of Delegates and Senate of Maryland generally
relating to legislative ethics and specifically relating to
advisory opinions of the Joint Committee on Legislative
Ethics, use of interim expense funds by legislators,
confidentiality of certain proceedings and records,
preliminary review by the Joint Committee on Legislative
Ethics of statements alleging violations of certain ethical
standards, notification of legislators of the results of a
preliminary review, findings made by the Joint Committee on
Legislative Ethics, certain reports submitted to and actions
taken by the presiding officers, establishment of
legislative investigating committees, and changing
references to legislators in the rules on ethics from the
masculine to gender-neutral; and making the passage of this
Resolution contingent upon the passage of a certain bill.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That
Rules 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, and 110, as adopted by the House
of Delegates and Senate of Maryland for the 1984 Session, be and
they are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments; that
Rules 110, 112, 113, 114, and 115, as adopted by the House of
Delegates and Senate of Maryland for the 1984 Session, be and
they are hereby added; that Rules 109 and 111 of the House of
Delegates and Senate of Maryland, as adopted for the 1984
Session, be and they are repealed; and that Rule 103, as adopted
by the House of Delegates and Senate of Maryland for the 1984
Session, be and it is hereby repealed and reenacted, without
amendments, all to read as follows:
