(B) EACH REGISTRATION IS VALID FOR 1 YEAR AND MAY BE
RENEWED FOR ADDITIONAL 1-YEAR PERIODS UPON APPLICATION TO THE
SECRETARY OF STATE AND PAYMENT OF THE $25 RENEWAL FEE.

(C) (1) IF THE SECRETARY OF STATE FINDS THAT THE REGISTRANT
HAS COMPLIED WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SUBTITLE AND THE RULES
AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED PURSUANT TO IT, THE REGISTRATION SHALL BE
APPROVED.

(2) IF THE REGISTRATION IS NOT APPROVED OR DENIED
WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ITS RECEIPT, THE REGISTRATION SHALL BE DEEMED
APPROVED.

(3)  (I) AN APPLICANT WHOSE APPLICATION FOR
REGISTRATION IS DENIED MAY, WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF
NOTIFICATION OF THE DENIAL, REQUEST IN WRITING A HEARING BEFORE
THE SECRETARY OF STATE.

(II) A HEARING SHALL BE HELD WITHIN 60 DAYS
FROM THE DATE THE SECRETARY OF STATE RECEIVES THE REQUEST.

(D)  A SOLICITOR MAY NOT SOLICIT FUNDS FROM THE PUBLIC FOR A
PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR UNLESS THE PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR HAS
REGISTERED WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE AND CAN DEMONSTRATE
EVIDENCE OF SUCH REGISTRATION.

(E)  A SOLICITOR SHALL MAINTAIN FOR A PERIOD OF NOT LESS
THAN 3 YEARS AFTER THE COMPLETION OF EACH FUND-RAISING DRIVE,
CAMPAIGN, OR EVENT, RECORDS WHICH SHALL ACCURATELY REFLECT ALL
COMPENSATION RECEIVED FOR SERVICES RENDERED, WHETHER PAID BY A
PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR OR BY A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION. A
SOLICITOR SHALL OPEN THE RECORDS TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR
REVIEW AND REPRODUCTION AT ANY HEARING CALLED BY THE SECRETARY OF
STATE.

103G.

All registration statements, reports, professional
[fund-raiser] FUND-RAISING counsel contracts, professional
solicitor contracts, and other documents and information required
to be filed under this subtitle with the Secretary of State are
public records. They shall be maintained in the office of the
Secretary of State for at least two years, and shall be available
to the general public for inspection and photocopying, at
reasonable prices, during the normal business hours of the
Secretary of State.

103-I.

The Secretary of State may enter into reciprocal agreements
with the appropriate authority of any other state of the United
States, for the purpose of exchanging information with respect to
charitable organizations, professional [fund-raiser] FUND-RAISING
counsel, [and] professional solicitors, AND SOLICITORS. Pursuant
to these agreements, the Secretary of State may accept
