that is in excess of therapeutic amounts or without valid medical
indication;

(14)  Is disciplined by a licensing or disciplinary
authority of any other state or country or convicted or
disciplined by a court of any state or country for an act that
would be grounds for disciplinary action under this section;

(15)  Practices audiology with an unauthorized person
or supervises or aids an unauthorized person in the practice of
audiology;

(16)  Willfully makes or files a false report or
record in the practice of audiology;

(17)  Willfully fails to file or record any report as
required by law, willfully impedes or obstructs the filing or
recording of the report, or induces another to fail to file or
record the report; [or]

(18)  Submits a false statement to collect a fee[.];

(19)  IS PROFESSIONALLY, PHYSICALLY, OR MENTALLY
INCOMPETENT;

(20)  PROMOTES THE SALE OF DEVICES, APPLIANCES, OR
GOODS TO A PATIENT SO AS TO EXPLOIT THE PATIENT FOR FINANCIAL
GAIN; OR

(21)  BEHAVES IMMORALLY IN THE PRACTICE OF AUDIOLOGY.

(B) THE BOARD MAY IMPOSE THE MONETARY PENALTY UNDER THIS
SECTION SEPARATELY OR IN ADDITION TO A REPRIMAND, PROBATION,

SUSPENSION, OR REVOCATION.

(C) THE BOARD SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO SET
STANDARDS FOR THE IMPOSITION OF PENALTIES UNDER THIS SECTION.

(D) THE BOARD SHALL PAY ANY PENALTY COLLECTED UNDER THIS
SECTION INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF THIS STATE.

3-207.

A PERSON WHO ACTS IN GOOD FAITH AND WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE
JURISDICTION OF THE BOARD IS NOT CIVILLY LIABLE FOR GIVING
INFORMATION TO THE BOARD OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN ITS
ACTIVITIES.

3-308.1.

THE BOARD SHALL REINSTATED LICENSE THAT IS EXPIRED ONLY IF
THE FORMER LICENSEE:

(1) MEETS THE RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS OF § 3-308; AND
