AN ACT concerning
Vehicle Laws - Gross Weight of Vehicles
FOR the purpose of providing that a certain weight formula does
not apply to certain vehicle combinations before a certain
date; providing that certain vehicle combinations are
subject to certain maximum load limits; providing that
certain vehicles with certain axles may carry a certain
gross weight; providing the Administration may not register
or transfer the registration of a vehicle to certain
applicants; providing that the measurement of certain
vehicle combinations may not include a certain overhang or
exceed a certain length; §providing that the Secretary of
Transportation that certain vehicle combinations
may operate on certain highways under certain conditions;
providing that a certain overweight tolerance of certain
vehicles may not exceed a certain amount; permitting a
certain overweight tolerance for certain vehicles carrying
agricultural products during certain months; providing that
police inspection of certain vehicles involve certain cargo
and cargo areas; providing that a public service commission
inspector may conduct certain inspections; requiring rules
and regulations adopted under this Act to provide for
certain items; providing that certain officers may perform
certain acts; providing for renumbering; and providing that
the Secretary of Transportation may provide for certain
exceptions and modifications before a certain date under
certain conditions and providing that certain vehicle
combinations are subject to certain load limits of axles and
to certain gross weight limits.
