(F)  THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN SOMERSET AND
WORCESTER COUNTIES AND THE COUNTY COUNCIL IN WICOMICO COUNTY MAY
REMOVE A MEMBER FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTY FOR INCOMPETENCE OR
MISCONDUCT.

(G)  THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE SHALL ADVISE AND COUNSEL THE
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ON THE
DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF THE MARYLAND LOWER EASTERN SHORE
TOURISM CENTER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That there     shall be

appointed 1 member from each of the 3 counties for   terms of 5

years from July 1, 1984, 1 member from each county for   terms of 3

years from July 1, 1984, and 1 member from each county   for terms
of 1 year from July 1, 1984.

SECTION 3 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

(House Bill 1665)

AN ACT concerning

Qualified Terminable Interest Property

FOR the purpose of providing that under certain circumstances, an
election to treat property not transferred pursuant to a
marital deduction formula clause as qualified terminable
interest property under the tax law of the United States
shall neither increase nor decrease the amount transferred
under the marital deduction formula clause; defining certain
terms; and providing for the application of this Act.
