(2) Room and board of a recipient who lives
off-campus shall be paid on vouchers approved by the institution.

(J)(H) THE STATE SCHOLARSHIP BOARD:

(1)  MAY ACCEPT ANY GIFT OR GRANT FROM ANY PERSON FOR
THE EDWARD T. CONROY SCHOLARSHIP FUND;

(2)  SHALL USE ANY GIFT OR GRANT THAT IT RECEIVES FOR
THE PROGRAM FOR AID TO A NEEDY STUDENT WHO IS THE RECIPIENT OF A
SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE PROGRAM; AND

(3)  SHALL DEPOSIT ANY GIFT OR GRANT THAT IT RECEIVES
FOR THE PROGRAM WITH THE STATE TREASURER IN A NONBUDGETED
ACCOUNT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Use of School Property - Charges

FOR the purpose of providing that those who use public school
facilities for community purposes may be charged a rental
fee commercial use may be charged for rent and recovery of
capital costs.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Education

Section 7-110

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Volume and 1983 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

7-110.

(a) (1) A reasonable charge for RENTAL heating, lighting,
and janitorial services for use of public school facilities under
§§ 7-108 and 7-109 of this subtitle may be made.
