AN ACT concerning

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority -
Compact Amendments
PG/MC 11-84

FOR the purpose of providing that service changes for certain
transportation purposes may be made without holding a public
hearing with respect thereto under certain circumstances;
providing that Washington Metropolitan Area Transit
Authority moneys may be deposited in any branch or
subsidiary of any state or national bank having certain
operations within the zone; providing that, subject to
certain agreements, any moneys of the Authority may be
invested in a certain manner; and increasing the required
expenditure amounts for certain contracts where the contract
is required to be advertised and let upon sealed bids to the
lowest responsible bidder.
