AN ACT concerning

Birdwatching - Licenses Birdwatching - Stamps and Decals

FOR the purpose of establishing a birdwatcher's fund; providing
for the funding, administration, and expenditure of the
birdwatcher's fund; providing a purpose for the

birdwatcher's fund; requiring a person engaged in

birdwatching to procure a birdwatcher's license; requiring
certain persons to carry or display a birdwatcher's license,
providing a fee for a birdwatcher's license birdwatcher's
stamp or decal; providing that certain persons may sell
birdwatcher's licenses birdwatcher's stamps and decals as
agents for the Department of Natural Resources and that
those agents may retain a certain amount of money for each
license stamp or decal sold; requiring the Department to
pass certain regulations; defining certain terms; and
generally relating to birdwatcher's licenses birdwatcher's
stamps and decals.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

10-101.

(a) In this title, the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(h) "Game birds or mammals" means the species defined as

forest game birds and mammals, fur-bearing mammals, upland game

birds and mammals, and wetland game birds or any part, egg,
offspring, or dead body of any of them.
