DECREE OR ORDER BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, AND OF ANY ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MAY
PRESCRIBE.
(C) The right of a person to a pension, an annuity or a
retirement allowance, to the return of contributions, the
pension, annuity or retirement allowance itself, any optional
benefit or death benefit, or any other right accrued or accruing
to any person under the provisions of this subtitle, and the
moneys in the various funds created by this subtitle, shall not
be subject to execution, garnishment, attachment, or any other
process whatsoever, and shall be [unassignable except as in this
subtitle specifically provided] ASSIGNABLE ONLY IF AND TO THE
EXTENT THAT THE ASSIGNMENT IS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED FOR IN, OR DONE
INCIDENT TO, A COURT DECREE OR ORDER OF DIVORCE, ALIMONY, CHILD
SUPPORT, OR A COURT APPROVED PROPERTY SETTLEMENT INCIDENT TO A
COURT DECREE OR ORDER.
(D) THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY PAYMENT
MADE TO A WRONGFUL BENEFICIARY IF THAT PAYMENT RESULTS FROM A
FAILURE TO RECEIVE BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES WRITTEN NOTICE OF THE
COURT DECREE OR ORDER.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Frederick County - County Civil Infractions
FOR the purpose of permitting the Board of County Commissioners
of Frederick County to provide that violations of any
Frederick County ordinance, resolution, rule, regulation, or
bylaw shall be county civil infractions which shall be civil
offenses; and providing for the administering of the
issuance of citations for these county civil infractions.
