[(f)] (H) The local department shall expunge a report of
suspected abuse 5 years after the date of the report if:
(1) an investigation under this section concludes
that abuse is ruled out; and
(2) no further reports involving the parties are
received during the 5 years.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect October 1, 1984.

(House Bill 353)
AN ACT concerning
Retail Installment Sales
FOR the purpose of redefining a certain term; providing that the
prepayment provisions of an installment sale agreement shall
apply to the sale of all goods, regardless of the case price
of the goods; and providing that buyer protection for an
installment sale agreement shall apply to the sale of all
goods. and altering the maximum cash price of goods as used
in certain definition redefining certain terms; providing
that the provisions in the Commercial Law Article allowing
for the prepayment of any unpaid balance under an
installment sale agreement based on an actuarial method
apply regardless of the original price of the purchased good
if the installment sales agreement is for the retail sale of
personal property purchased primarily for personal, family,
or household purposes; and generally relating to installment
sales agreements.
