(p)(1) Each branch of the legislature by a simple
resolution shall establish an investigating committee, as
provided in TITLE 2, SUBTITLE 16 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT Article
[40] of the Code, promptly upon the beginning of the first
regular session after each gubernatorial election. Subject to
further action of that branch of the legislature, that
investigating committee shall function during and between
sessions throughout each year of the term and until a new
investigating committee is created.
SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 1 of this Act shall take effect July 1,
1984, contingent upon the passage of H.J.R. No. 7 of 1984
(41r0722). Should H.J.R. No. 7 of 1984 (41r0722) fail of
enactment, the provisions of Section 1 of this Act are null and
void without the need of further action by the General Assembly.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of Section 2 of this Act shall take effect on October 1, 1984,
contingent upon the taking effect of Chapter_____of the Acts of
1984 (Senate Bill No. 50), and if Chapter_____does not become
effective, the provisions of Section 2 of this Act are null and
void without the necessity of further action by the General
Assembly.

FOR the purpose of requiring the reporting of intentional and
unauthorized access to computers and certain devices or
systems related to computers; prohibiting intentional and
unauthorized access to computers and certain devices or
systems related to computers; providing for punishment for
certain crimes relating to computers; providing for venue in
certain crimes relating to computers; defining certain
terms; and generally relating to crimes relating to
computers.
