[(9)] (14) Unless otherwise provided in this title,
and subject to provisions in the bylaws requiring a different
majority, decisions of the council of unit owners shall be made
on a majority of votes of the unit owners listed on the current
roster present and voting.

[(10)] (15) The initial meeting of the council of
unit owners shall be held within 6 months of the creation of the
condominium regime, or within 60 days from the date that 50
percent of the percentage interests in the condominium have been
conveyed by the developer to the initial purchasers of units,
whichever occurs first.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Horse Racing Council - Grants

FOR the purpose of providing that the Department of Budget and
Fiscal Planning rather than the Department of Economic and
Community Development may approve grants to the Maryland
Horse Racing Council; and providing that any appropriations
made to the Department of Economic and Community Development
for the Maryland Horse Racing Council may be transferred to
the Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning by approved
budget amendment.
