BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Article - Health - General TITLE 12. INCOMPETENCY AND CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY IN CRIMINAL CASES 12-101. DEFINITIONS. (A) IN GENERAL. IN THIS TITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS (B) COMMITTED INDIVIDUAL. "COMMITTED INDIVIDUAL" MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL COMMITTED TO THE (C) COURT. "COURT" MEANS ANY COURT THAT HAS CRIMINAL JURISDICTION. (D) INCOMPETENT TO STAND TRIAL. "INCOMPETENT TO STAND TRIAL" MEANS NOT ABLE: (1) TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OR OBJECT OF THE (2) TO ASSIST IN ONE'S DEFENSE. |
