(D) With respect to sex discrimination and discrimination
on the basis of marital status alone, nothing herein shall be
construed to apply to the rental of rooms within any dwelling in
which the owner maintains his or her principal residence or to
the rental of any apartment in a dwelling containing not more
than five units and in which the owner maintains his or her
principal residence.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Howard County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Howard County Board of License
Commissioners to revoke or suspend an alcoholic beverages
license if the licensee or any of the licensee's agents,
servants, or employees violate certain provisions of any
rule or regulation of the Board.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

69.

(H) IN HOWARD COUNTY, IN ADDITION TO THE GROUNDS FOR THE
REVOCATION AND SUSPENSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSES AND
PERMITS PROVIDED FOR IN THIS SECTION, THE HOWARD COUNTY BOARD OF
LICENSE COMMISSIONERS MAY REVOKE OR SUSPEND A LICENSE IF IT FINDS
THAT A LICENSEE OR ANY AGENT, SERVANT, OR EMPLOYEE OF A LICENSEE
HAS VIOLATED ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE OR ANY RULE OR
REGULATION OF THE BOARD.
